Current Life:

I am an Ontario girl living the student life out here in beautiful BC. Gearing up to be the female Resident Supervisor at my school for 2017/2018 and so excited to get to walk alongside the girls of the college as they discover more about themselves and God. Involved in an amazing church plant called The Crossing in South Surrey which has a huge chunk of my heart! Over all I am just trying to live my life filled right to the tip top with an abundance of good things!!

I am currently studying Pastoral Theology at Summit Pacific College (graduating in 2018)! I have worked with youth and children in various capacities for the last 6 years of my life. I have also been an RA/RS for the last two (going on three!!) years at my college and have been able to walk through some pretty tough stuff with the girls.

I became a Christian when…

I was still in high school. I had just gone through an incredibly tough season in my life and experienced God’s transforming love for the first time at a youth retreat. It was that deep love that propelled me forward to discover Him more. It was that love which offered freedom, hope and peace. I owe everything to that amazing love that only Jesus offers!!!!

A few of my favourite things...

COFFEE, laughing until I cry, my best friends, my amazing and crazy family, and seeing people come to know Christ deeply!

What I would say to my teenage self:

"The best way of loving yourself is loving others so deeply you feel like you are going to explode!"

"Those things that feel like the end of the world are 99.9% of the time the BEST launching pad for growth and beauty to be forged."

A Bible verse I love:

Philippians 3:8

"What is more, I consider everything a loss because of the surpassing worth of knowing Christ Jesus my Lord, for whose sake I have lost all things. I consider them garbage, that I may gain Christ”

To know Christ is the thing I desire most in my life, more than any earthy success or pleasure! I have realized that nothing in my life holds substance when Jesus is not the centre! To be on a path to know Him more is to be on a path of true freedom and success.
